The foundation of our journey was laid in 1931, when Late Sh. Harbans Lal Ji began serving the educational community with a vision to make dependable educational materials available to students and institutions.

Our family’s association with education began in 1931 with Late Sh. Harbans Lal Ji. At a time when access to quality educational supplies was limited, the focus was on useful, reliable and affordable products for everyday learning.

The Establishment of Aggarwal Book Depot
Building upon the experience, trust and reputation developed over the previous decades, Sh. Raj Pal Aggarwal Ji established Aggarwal Book Depot in 1969, marking an important new chapter in the family’s educational journey. Under his leadership, the organisation steadily expanded its presence in books, notebooks, stationery, educational resources and institutional supplies.
